for solace and popcorn ...

Planning for the End

Because the end hovers
without landing, acting

like it doesn’t see us here
although it must,

and the rising stars
are headed to the planetarium

for solace and popcorn,
I think we should kiss

and kiss and kiss and see
where that gets us.
